lisa lost her way on the road
and down came the phantoms
the fog it hung heavy
as tears streamed from her
beautiful eyes
she found her way back
to that smoking hole
where the camp was
and something held her hand
and it wasn’t something alive
i know it wasn’t something alive
and lisa went drifting
on down to the palace
of madness
to the catacombs
where she finally felt half alive
she wrapped herself slowly
in the shroud
of her ghastly companion
they kissed hard
as the winding sheet billowed
and flapped in the night
it was such a spectacular sight
lisa ducked behind
a tree in that forgotten
graveyard
she laughed to herself
as the funeral train stumbled by
that face peering up
from the coffin on further inspection
resembled sweet lisa
on the fateful day that she died
such a spectacular sight
…now go on darling
wave goodbye
